The 5th celebration of the Sacred Feminine raises our power of STOP - with the goddess Bagalamukhi - whose beauty could stop a person in their tracks, she is the voice of No that cannot be denied.
Bagalamukhi has a golden complexion and her dress is yellow. She sits in a golden throne in the midst of an ocean of nectar full of yellow lotuses. A crescent moon adorns her head. She holds a club in her right hand with which she beats a demon, while pulling his tongue out with her left hand, paralyzing her enemies into submission.
Join our Women's Circle and take part in self-confidence practices, chanting, meditation and deep rest and self-care so that we may be strong, beautiful and aware.
Many of us get that little twinge of concern that won’t seem to go away. Sometimes it shows up as simple sweaty palms or lack of appetite, other times it can keep you awake at night. Is this normal? Should you be concerned? Do you know what PTSD, Trauma, or Women's Battered Syndrome? Lets talk about these tough topics since so many of us have been shamed.
Join us for ToughTalks to learn more about the signs and symptoms of Mental Health or Conditions. Develop new tools to reduce or eliminate anxiety, and gain support from our community at WAAS Wellness Studios founded by Brandy Michele Adams in collaboration with Cicely Rue founder of The Shxt Podcast both located in Dallas, Texas.
****Inspired by TedTalks, Brandy Michele Adams Founder of WAAS creates and builds ToughTalks to help women express difficult topics in a safe and supportive environment. We’re experiencing an age of acceleration, a rise of the divine feminine and all of her attributes. Tripura Sundari - The Goddess of Three Cities
She represents a pathway that enables a worshipper to find samadhi (state of consciousness), giving her the designation as a Vedic goddess of knowledge, which she expresses through her triple natured characteristic.

Awaken Your Radiance
Get in touch with the wisdom of your soul through meditation, writing exercises, and yoga nidra practices. It is time to move beyond old stories and patterns that keep you stuck. This workshop will activate your manifestation power, amplify your deserving power and connect you with your ability to thrive and live a purposeful life.
The authentic practice of yoga nidra is a science for deep relaxation, a highly evolved method of meditation, a powerful technique for stress management and self-healing, a way to improve memory, gain greater mastery over the conscious mind, and find the source of lasting inner peace. Yoga nidra can be used as an intriguing system of self-discovery, to guide one into deeper realms of the subconscious and connect to the infinite.
It is said that 40 minutes of yoga nidra can be equivalent to 3 hours of sleep and that in itself is enough to do it!
When we utilize practices like yoga nidra that can support us in deeply restoring and relaxing we have more energy to be awake and aware during our meditation practice. We may feel more refreshed upon waking and our morning meditation practice will benefit.

Experience the power and abundance that is Tantra Yoga.
In this workshop you will gain an understanding of the origins and types of Tantra, how to apply its techniques in a modern age, Tantra and the body, emotions, kundalini tantra, and external rituals and practices.
The popular understanding of Tantra is very limited, and in most cases, quite incorrect! Modern Tantra mainly focuses on the physical, dramatic, and exotic. Traditional Tantra is a complex science, guided by spiritual traditions from ancient India and beyond.
The goals of traditional Tantra Yoga and Meditation practices are spiritual and material abundance, evolved beyond the dogma of religion, or other exclusive beliefs. Tantra weaves together the mundane and divine, understanding that all of creation is a gift not to be wasted.
We will have a discussion, learn chanting, and practice yoga asanas and meditation. You will be given a practice to enjoy over the next 30 days, to provide a real life experience of how your life can be transformed.
You will leave with a better understanding of what Tantra is, what it is not, and how to apply it in your life and practice. You are the architect of your destiny - you can embody indomitable will, knowledge and the ability and power to reach your goals.
We will also introduce the MahaVidyas - the ten Wisdom Goddesses of the Tantric tradition and attempt to answer questions you may have about Tantra.
The origin of this knowledge comes from the Himalayan Institute of Yoga Science and Philosophy, under the teachings of Living Tantra with Pandit Rajmani Tiguniat, Ph.D, Sanskrit Scholar and lifelong Tantric Yoga practioner.
Ticket Price $20

“Give It Time” by Matthew Brinston featured at BREDA Studio. BREDA Studio is tucked away in the Deep Ellum district of Dallas – a neighborhood with a growing creative base. The studio functions as the brand’s design office and retail store combined with a collaborative workspace. Breda’s mission is to make watches that inspire creativity and individuality. With that mission in mind, the team is proud to host an art reception to honor the works of Matthew Brinston.
Brinston’s introspective approach has continued to guide the direction of his work and his self reflective style is ever present in this new collection. “Give It Time” is an anecdotal succession of Brinston’s personal experiences.
“I’ve learned to approach things with patience and to allow my work and my life to evolve organically.” -BRINSTON
WAAS Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibit of new works, titled “FOMO”, by artist Erika Jaeggli. The gallery will host an artist reception from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, May 9 and the exhibition will remain on view through June 13.
Jaeggli's artistic output to date has been concerned with creating contemplative works and installations that address subjects of gender, economy and climate change. Continuing to use metaphor and visual storytelling as artistic material, Jaeggli’s work references both past and contemporary culture in “FOMO” (Fear of Missing Out). In large-scale charcoal drawings, she reinterprets sentiments of emptiness and angst found from the advent of postcards to present-day engagement with social media. The result is an intersection of modern culture with a highly contemplative imagination.
WAAS Gallery proudly invites you to of Infinite Sadness, an exhibition by Jonathan Ramirez opening April 18th, 2015. A public reception will be open from 8 PM–10 PM.
The work will be on display for only one week, from April 18 to April 25.
Ramirez addresses the natural realities of life, death and the decaying process of the human form in relation to the earth. Photography, painting and sculpture combined with found organic matter illustrate Jonathan's journey of experimentation, search for inspiration, and integrity to his work.
Jonathan Ramirez explores the process of death in both the human body and spirit. His work approaches the concept of human existence; the idea that our human forms come from the earth and return at death. He suggests that life and death exist simultaneously, and that neither is to be more feared or celebrated that the other.
Jonathan suggests that human identity found solely in the physical bodies humans posses and material items used as social markers, run the risk of being rubbed out and dusted away. He suggests that the human identity is found in the spirit and memories of the being, that they persist after death and decay.
